I am taking all this up with Virgin. The hotel, like most of the Caribbean, hits its peak season when the weather's miserable in the northern regions of the world -- December through April -- which is when prices and popularity are on the rise -- you'll pay at least $100 more per night at peak times. Mainly British American and Canadian visitors as one would expect. Coco's beach was covered in it and the bay quite dirty and smelly. Renting a car and exploring the island and other beaches sounds like a fantastic way to make the most of your stay. The nicest restaurant was occasionally closed due to low occupancy and meals were served in the breakfast area which was canteen-like. We were impressed. Food was okay for lunch. We are sorry to hear that your experience with the waiting and catering staff did not meet your expectations. She greeted us nightly and kept the food and drinks flowing.
